SNMP Capabilities of the TS-MPPT-60(150V and 600V), are limited to TRAP notifications based on several possible variables(faults, alarms, low battery voltage, temperature, etc.) You have the ability to enable up to 4 different event notifications using our MSView Software.

The TSMPPT60 does have an internal .MIB file that could be used with your NMS, however as mentioned it is very limited to 4 TRAP notifications and the following values:

-Serial Number
-Hardware Version Major
-Hardware Version Minor
-FW Version Processor A
-FW Version Processor B

With the addition of a Morningstar Ethernet Adapter (EMC-1), many of our controllers with RJ11 connections (See List Below) can now support SNMP v2c, including the TSMPPT-60 (150 and 600V). When used with the EMC-1 adapter, many functions such as Get, GetNext, GetBulk, and Walk are supported, however the Set command as well as Traps are not supported.

Adding the EMC-1 to your TS-MPPT would allow full access to all controller data via SNMP.

Another option, and I am not familiar with MRTG so I am not sure if this is available via that app, would be to poll the controller via modbus. This would allow you to access all data, either over RS-232 serial or ethernet, via modbus. You can find the TS-MPPT modbus document at the following link:
